Married for 52 years to Bertha Sandra with 4 sons (William , James, Frank, and John). We are blessed with 9 Grandchildren, 6 girls and 3 boys.

Special Interests:
Travel, Music (Jazz and Classical), Theater, Grandchildren (being with them and attending their activities), Dancing.

Hobbies: Photography, Gardening and Yard Work, Reading, Watching Sports (TV & Live).

Veteran WWII-U.S. Army, Sergeant T/3 Medical Corps.

Graduate of Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, D.O. Degree 1953.

Interned at Grandview Hospital, July 1, 1953-June 30, 1954.

Practiced in Dayton for 38 years as General Practitioner.

A Board Member of the Physician?s Charitable Foundation of the Miami Valley, formerly the Western Ohio Foundation, for many years.

Has served on many local, state and national osteopathic medical committees as a member and chairman.

In addition, has held many offices on the Medical Staff at Grandview Hospital.

Has served as President and Vice President of the Dayton District Academy of Osteopathic Medicine.

Was named "Boss of the Year, 1977" by the Osteopathic Medical Assistants Association.

Was Chairman of the Department of General Practice for two terms.

Has served on the Alumni Board of Governors of the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, representing all of the alumni of Ohio, for 6 years (1979-1985).

Was president of the alumni association on final year and represented all the alumni on the Board of Trustees of the college and hospital.

Clinical Professor of the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Received the General Practitioner of the Year Award from the Ohio State Society of the American College of General Practitioners in Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery, June 1990.

Was interim Director of the Family Practice Residency at Grandview Hospital from January 1, 1992 to August 1995.

Was Preceptor of the Interns at the Grandview Hospital Outpatient Clinic from September 1995 until November 1997.

Is a Preceptor at Corwin M. Nixon Community Health Center for the Family Practice Residents, November 1997 to present.

Does Locum Tenens for several family practice offices in the Greater Miami Valley.
